Questions
Do you charge per seat?
No. The plan is $49 a month for the organization. Add every technician, inspector, manager, auditor and supplier login you need; your bill does not change.
What counts as an organization?
One certificate holder or company with its own records: a repair station, an operator, a Part 21 holder or a distributor. An organization can have as many locations as it needs. If you run two separately certificated companies with separate records, each is its own organization with its own subscription.
How does the free month work?
Create an account and every module is on for 30 days with no card. Import your people and equipment, build a binder, invite your team. If you do nothing, access simply ends when the free month does; nothing is charged and your data is kept for export.
When do I add a card?
Any time during the free month, under Settings → Billing in the app. Stripe stores the card; we never see the number. The first charge happens when the free month ends, and monthly after that.
How do I cancel, and are there refunds?
Cancel from Settings → Billing in one click, no email or phone call needed. You keep access until the end of the month you already paid for, and you can export every table as CSV and every binder as PDF before then. Monthly charges are not prorated or refunded, except where the law requires it.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Every table exports to CSV, the audit binder exports as a PDF, and the read-only API lets you pull records into your own systems. Your records stay yours, during the subscription and after it.
Is the training FAA-accepted?
The FAA accepts a repair station’s or operator’s training program, not a software vendor. FAA Ready gives you the pieces the FAA reviews: a Training Program Manual generated from your course catalog and requirement matrix, course content written from the regulations and advisory circulars, and signed completion records. Your principal inspector accepts the program; FAA Ready keeps it current and documented.
Is SMS required for my organization?
Under the FAA’s Part 5 rule, Part 135 operators and Part 21 design and production approval holders must have an SMS in place by May 2027. US Part 145 stations that hold an EASA approval already needed one by the end of 2025 under the Maintenance Annex Guidance. Other Part 145 stations are not yet mandated, although many customers and the FAA’s voluntary program encourage it. When in doubt, confirm with your principal inspector.
We run on spreadsheets and another tool. How do we move?
Every list in FAA Ready accepts a CSV import: people, gauges, shelf-life items, vendors, aircraft and training records. The import templates and email support get most shops live within the free month.
$49/month per organization. First month free, card added inside the app, cancel any time.
