Compliance software should be priced on the website and usable the same afternoon.
FAA Ready was built for the shops the industry’s software forgot: the twelve-person repair station, the three-aircraft Part 135 operator, the distributor with a receiving inspection to pass. They are held to the same regulations as the majors, with none of the budget for consultants and implementation projects.
So we made the opposite choices. One published price. Self-serve sign-up and CSV import. The whole application in English and Spanish. And records built the way the FAA already describes electronic records, so the binder you hand over is one an inspector can trust.
What we believe
Self-serve is a feature
You should be able to create an account, import your people and gauges from a spreadsheet and build a binder before anyone from our side talks to you. We are happy to help; you should not have to wait for us.
Bilingual is not an add-on
A large share of the technicians who do this work read and sign in Spanish. The application, the course library and every notification are available in both languages, chosen per person.
How it is built
Compliance records are only useful if an inspector can trust them. FAA Ready borrows its record-keeping rules from the FAA’s own guidance rather than inventing new ones.
- Electronic records per AC 120-78B
- Records identify who made them and when, cannot be altered without a trace, and can be reproduced in a readable form on request. Every record that matters carries its history.
- Hashed signatures
- A signature stores the signer, the time, the IP address, the meaning of the signature (completed, approved, returned to service) and a SHA-256 hash of the exact content signed.
- An audit log on every change
- Every create, update and delete is written to an append-only log with the actor and the before-and-after values. The binder includes it.
- One organization, one boundary
- Every record belongs to exactly one organization and every query is scoped to it. Read the details on the security page.
Who builds it
FAA Ready is built by a small team that writes the code, the course content and the manual templates from the public regulations and advisory circulars, and answers the support inbox. We do not have a sales department, and we do not plan on one.
Independence
FAA Ready is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or certified by the Federal Aviation Administration or any other authority. The FAA accepts your program and your manuals, not our software; you remain responsible for your own compliance.
